Everyone wants to be healthy or remain fit, some want to get healthy after getting ill, some want to remain healthy, and some want to prevent illness using different fitness methods. Why not choose the best and the most simple method for fitness i.e. walk. The walk is the best method for fitness in my opinion.
How much time walk daily? When it comes to walking it always comes into mind how much walk should I do. In my opinion, 30 minutes in a single day is enough. Time can also go down to 15 minutes, it depends on one’s capacity or how much dose of walk your body needs. So, we can say the time of walk is a variable; maximum 30 minutes walk daily.
Why 5 days walk in a week? You might have heard of muscle fatigue. What happens when one walks 7 days of the week, one can undergo joint pain or muscle fatigue. Walking 5 days a week helps to prevent you from the monotony and muscle fatigue; you don’t get fed up from walk.
Walk on the ground or treadmill? There is a lot of stuff already been written on the difference between walking on the ground and on the treadmill. I would answer as per my perception, there isn’t much difference between the two. The only difference is outdoors and indoors. The main aspect of the walk is stimulating the body cells and organs to function better. Buy the treadmill or go outdoors daily for a walk; it all depends on you. I would say don’t go for calories burnt, rather count the time of your walk. If you want to count calories burnt and consider it as a fitness parameter then make a combo of time & calories burnt. Why only walk? You are not constrained to walk only. The aim is to stimulate your body cells regardless of the method. Here I would say it’s better to go for a more productive game rather than a time-consuming game like cricket. The same is true for the game; play 30-45 minutes each day and 5 days a week. For playing a game you always need a companion, on contrary, you can do walk yourself.
Walk or running? This question can also come to your mind. If the time remains constant say 30 minutes then you need to consider how many miles you want to cover in the respective time. So, it depends on how much distance you want to cover and whether your body can bear running.
1. Help Rejuvenate Cells
One of the great benefits of the walk is cell rejuvenation. The walk gives new energy to the body cells and you feel energetic overall. You walk on your feet but its effect is on the whole body as it improves blood circulation. The blood circulates through all the body organs thus improving performance.
2. Helps You to Stay Disciplined
Discipline is not behaving like a soldier, rather it is doing tasks and doing with a specific pattern so you don’t have to think every time you need to redo it. Like if you are driving on a straight road then rather than fluctuating the speed again and again it’s better to move with a constant speed say – 80 km/hr.
When you can drive straight then why drive some meters on one side and some meters on the other side of the road and then again come on the side you were previously, so, drive straight as much as possible. Doing so you don’t need to think over and over again that how you are moving on the road, moreover, it has a direct effect on your brain.
The same is true for clothes if you wear the same color clothes every day you don’t need to think every day how your clothing is going to be. The main thing you acquire by doing so is mental peace.
3. You Feel Lighter
You also feel lighter by doing a walk, the reason for a lighter feeling is cell rejuvenation. The walk also helps to detoxify your body. This isn’t true that you can’t live without a walk. The reason is to live and live in a better way. However, every person has adopted a specific lifestyle then why not integrate walk in your life for it doesn’t have any side effect on your body.
If your daily routine is tough or compact that it doesn’t allow you to socialize then walk is the way to go for. You can live on your own like fulfilling the necessities of your life but trying to provide a better human being to society is what we should go for. Socializing doesn’t mean that you should meet someone in a park and tell him/her the secret of how do you make money, haha. The secret to making money is simple, work hard, and work in the right direction.
Provide some sort of value or product to the society, the ultimate result would be money. It depends upon your passion. Find your passion and use it to make money. Now, what passion is? Passion is the work you enjoy while doing it, you don’t get fed up with it in either condition. Adopt your passion to make money. You can have more than one passion such as – one passion to earn a living and one passion that keeps you happy and the third one for some other reason.
One thing which I would like to mention here is that don’t confuse entrepreneurship with business; both are meant for the same. You sell something or provide some service and earn revenue, if you do so with a new method and idea then it’s termed as enterpreneurship. If you are working on a new idea with new method, other than conventional methods, then also term it as business. The aim is to be around someone who likes your company or be close/meet someone who is good for your mental health, this person can be anyone, probably, she is your wife. You can have a walk with your wife; your most important life companion. Walk 5 days a week, don’t be rude to your own body.
5. Channelizes Your Body Energy
Here one question can pop up in your mind that what does channelize actually mean? Channelize mean to put yourself or your energy on the right track where distraction is less. Now what you need to do is to only channelize yourself. You can channelize yourself or get yourself attached to somebody who you feel is good for your mental health or can help you get channelized. The walk can help your body’s energy to get channelized.
When you are channelized you always move towards your goal with least distraction possible. Here less distraction is automated means when you are channelized distraction automatically reduces.
